Vietnamese cuisine has received a warm welcome from the Bridgeport community, said Hello Vietnam co-owner James Mai. Thursday morning, a ribbon cutting was held to make the opening official with the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce.
Joining Mai and co-owner Vivian Nguyen (cutting the ribbon) were (left to right) Ben Hanlan, West Virginia Delegate candidate; Luis Ramirez, Economic Development Corporation and Bridgeport Councilman Don Burton.
Located at 519 East Main Street, the eatery features hearty, filling bowls with choices including eyeround, brisket, flank, chicken, meatballs and more, as well as spring rolls, sandwiches and soups.
Mai said all of the dishes, as well as coffee and specialty drinks, have been popular since the restaurant opened its doors just after the first of the year. He is grateful to the community for the support received and said he, his wife and staff strive to keep their patrons happy.
