The champagne was popped as the artisans of Babe & Honey celebrated the store’s grand opening on Friday. Owner Casey Gorby cut the ribbon as representatives of the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce and Bridgeport City Council participated in the event. Councilman John Griffith officially welcomed the West Main Street business and wished Gorby and her artisans much success.
After formalities, special guests and customers browsed the store and were treated to refreshments and fanfare. Babe & Honey features the unique products of a dozen and a half women artisans; items ranging from jewelry and attire to soaps, candles and home décor.
Though Friday was the ribbon cutting, the store opened its doors on June 12. Read the feature story which ran that day HERE.
