The latest addition to White Oaks Retail Village is officially official.
Edward Jones held its ribbon cutting at their new location at 25 Sweetbrier Lane, Suite 103, next to Starbucks, Elegant Nails and Bridgeport Physical Therapy, on Friday.
“It’s so exciting,” Edward Jones financial advisor Laiken Beckley said. “It’s been a process of over a year just to get the move ready and figure out where we want to be and get it all approved and built.
“We’re so excited about being a part of this specific community (in White Oaks) because there’s so much right at our doorstep,” Edward Jones senior branch office administrator Belinda Pishner said. “I think our clients love that.”
Both bring plenty of experience; Beckley took over an office at the end of 2021 after working in insurance for five years, while Pishner has been active “for 23 years on the 23rd of May.”
“As soon as we got the ball rolling, it was definitely the Lord’s hand,” Beckley said. “It was meant to be for sure. Belinda and I working together, again, was definitely a God thing because we’re just a match made in heaven, in my opinion.”
“We came on together and we hit it off immediately,” Beckley said. “It feels like we’ve known each other our whole lives. We just decided as a team that it was time for us to find a new space that was going to better suit our clients and be more of a professional space and area.”
“I wouldn’t go this route with anyone else,” Pishner said.
Edward Jones offers full financial services like financial planning, retirement planning and goal planning.
“Mostly, we find out where you are, what you’re trying to accomplish and try to find ways to get you there,” Pishner said.
The office will officially be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, but “usually we’re here around 8:30,” Beckley said.
“If you need hours before or after, we always accommodate,” Pishner said. “We typically work by appointment, but we do see walk-ins as well.”
“We built it from the ground up, so to get through this process and be here today is just a blessing,” Beckley said. “If there’s a need, stop in and see what we can do for you. We’re thankful for the support of the community and we just hope that if you’re looking for an advisor at Edward Jones that you’ll remember our names.”
