It’s been 11 years since Bridgeport Farmers Market was first rooted in Bridgeport. The small humble marketplace was then located in the Bridgeport High School parking lot and as it grew, was moved to the market grounds in Charles Pointe. The market now features dozens of weekly vendors with a large variety of produce and local products.
To help fund the market, commemorative posters are available for purchase at walk-thru markets, 10 a.m.-1 p.m at 100 Marketplace (the parking lot of the Bridgeport Visitors Center) Sundays, Sept. 6 and Sept. 13. Designed and printed by Base Camp Printing Company, the posters sell for $20, with an extra bonus – a market sticker – while supplies last. The posters can be purchased at the Bridgeport Farmers Market management tent. Cash and checks will be accepted.
