Bridgeport’s newest restaurant is open for business and is already serving the local community.
Casa D’Amici is the city’s newest eatery. It is located the Market Place just off Jerry Dove Drive and past the main entrance to White Oaks.
According to Bridgeport Manager Ken McLaughlin, the store opened last week – on Tuesday, June 3.
“Things are going pretty good,” he said. “The first week was a little slow, but it is picking up a bit. You can tell word is getting out, and we’re seeing more customers.”
Word first came out in late May of 2024 when Metro Property Management’s David Biafora, whose company develops the Market Place, confirmed that Casa D’Amici was heading there. Now, it is open for business.
The Italian restaurant is located in the same building that houses Don Patron and Stone Tower Brews. The exact location is directly beside Don Patron.
“We’re offering fresh, hot food at a good price, and we hope to see plenty of people here,” said McLaughlin.
With several other area locations, including White Hall, Morgantown, and the Cheat Lake area, Casa D’Amici has a reputation for good food. Although known by many for its pizza, it also offers other Italian fare. Among the items available are various pasta dishes, wings, appetizers, submarine sandwiches, and more.
The business is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week. McLaughlin said the store is closed on Christmas and Thanksgiving.
Patrons can eat in or carry out. The address is 8000 Jerry Dove Dr suite 103, Bridgeport, WV 26330. The phone number is 304-848-8182.
