Just in time for Harrison County spring break and the Easter countdown, The Bunny Hop Trail is happening at Bridgeport City Park Saturday.
According to co-organizer Amy Callahan, the Easter Bunny will be on hand, as well as holiday treats, craft opportunities and meet and greets with the featured author.
That author is Mary Jane Romig, who wrote “My Grandfather’s Garden,” the book that will be showcased along the Bridgeport StoryWalk Trail at City Park.
Sponsored by Bridgeport StoryWalk, Bridgeport Public Library and Bridgeport Parks and Recreation, the event runs 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 28.
Families can stroll the trail, reading pages of “My Grandfather’s Garden,” illustrated by Karen Riley. Registration is not necessary. Bring your friends and enjoy this holiday event free of charge.
