There are plenty of things to enjoy during your stay. Several nearly by local and state parks offer opportunity to explore fitness trails, hiking trails, swimming and cycling or simply pack a picnic and enjoy some time outside.

Make sure you bring your clubs with you to Bridgeport. With several area golf courses, including the Pete Dye Golf Club, you can play golf on some of the best courses West Virginia has to offer. The Pete Dye Golf Club has been rated the best course in West Virginia and one of the 100 best in America.

If you love fresh fruit and vegetables, the Bridgeport Farmers Market is open every Sunday from mid-May thru mid-October, 10am to 2pm. The Market is open rain or shine. The Market is located in the Charles Pointe Development off I-79, at exit 124. The Winter Market is open the 2nd Sunday of each month from November to April, 11am to 2pm, inside the Bridgeport Conference Center.

Not far from Bridgeport you will find whitewater rafting, kayaking and canoeing opportunities that offer some of the most exciting (and beautiful) whitewater experiences in the state.
