By April, About You Monograms will be relocated back at 110 West Main Street, the business’s original storefront (pictured above/cover).

For the past couple of years, the boutique – which features custom embroidery and a wide array of seasonal, gift and unique items – has been housed at 106 West Main Street (pictured right.)

Before occupying 106 West Main, that location was utilized as a holiday market for About You Monograms. Eventually, everything was moved into that space. Owner Lisa Lang said it has served her well.

“We loved the 106 space during the holidays, but prefer the cozier space. The quaint space (of 110 West Main) is a better fit for a more strategic product layout,” she said.

Since moving the boutique out of 110 West Main, Lang transformed that space into a Pop-Up Market, available to those who wanted to test run or jumpstart a business idea. Various businesses took advantage of that opportunity.

“I loved the idea of a pop-up opportunity for the community. I only wish we had another space to continue this,” Lang said.

Lang did say there was a special plan for 106 West Main which she cannot disclose at this time.

About You will be open at 110 West Main Street on April 1.

“We will have new and exciting merchandise in addition to our faithful, such as embroidery for personal and professional, Stonewall kitchen merchandise, Nora Fleming, West Virginia merchandise unique to About You items and, of course, Easter items,” Lang said.

In the meantime, About You is hosting a sale – up to 60 percent off merchandise – at the 106 West Main Street location.

Current hours are 10 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 10-3 Friday.
