Organizers are excited to host several world-class Professional LEGO builders, including some from the hit TV show, LEGO Masters, at a brand-new event on September 25 and 26 (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.) at The Bridge Sports Complex in Bridgeport.
Check out some amazing LEGO displays … Star Wars, NASA shuttles, International Space Station, life-size bald eagles, the US Capitol Dome, intricate buildings and villages, stained glass windows, man’s furry friends, Clue 2, and lots more … thousands and thousands of LEGO pieces in incredible exhibits.
Best part … you can meet the artists who created them, including Neil Bonness, Lia Chan, Emmanual “Manny” Garcia, Krista Kay, Mark Lorah, Robert Ziccardi, and Chris Dunkle.
This is indeed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet these artists in person, some who are former contestants on the hit tv show, LEGO Masters.
You might also find a rare LEGO kit, special piece, or Mini Figure you’re been looking for at one of our specialty vendors including Beskar Bricks (Georgia), A Family of Bricks (Pennsboro), Bricks Anywhere (Delaware), Let the Building Begin (Florida) and Appalachian Ordnance Works (Buckhannon).
They’ll have lots of collectible and hard-to-find items, along with custom-made LEGO jewelry and some unique one-of-a-kind 3D printed items.
You can also create your own custom Mini Figure at a Mini Fig Station.
And there’s lots more fun … FREE Sand Art kids can make and take home, along with a LEGO Make & Take area (while supplies last)/
Try your luck at a new LEGO-themed Putt Putt course, throw some Cornhole bags, or play Connect Four.
Kids and adults can also build structures or create mosaics in two LEGO build-and-play areas.
You might even snag a photo with a Stormtrooper or Darth Vader wandering around as costumed members of WV’s Garrison Coreilla of the 501st Legion stroll through the venue … ALL FREE activities.
Kids love having their faces painted, and Cynthia Casto’s Creations will be on hand with special LEGO designs and other favorites.
In addition, Gilbert’s World of Wonder will be creating some of his extreme balloon sculptures (Saturday only) – both require a nominal fee, but what fun they are!
And there’s even more free fun at the WV Youth Aviation Expo. at the same time/place with drone flights, rocket launches, remote control airplane flights (Saturday) and lots more to enjoy.
Adult admission is only $10 per day, with Kids 5 & under FREE.
Doors open at 10 a.m. Friday and Saturday and close at 6 p.m. daily.
You can even stop in and enjoy the expo on your way to Saturday evening’s WVU game, making a full day of fun for the whole family.
