Fiber Arts Display and Demonstration
Juried Tamarack artisan and an original founding member of West Virginia Heritage Crafts Judy Wilson will be presenting a Fiber Arts Demonstration on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 10 am-5 pm at the Quiet Dell Grade School. She will show the entire process from raising sheep to processing the raw wool. The wool is washed, dried, picked, fluffed, carded, and finally spun into yarn. All the various instruments in this process will be on display. Ms. Wilson raises sheep, rabbits, and goats, and uses their fur to make yarn.
